چکیده

The registration and geometric recti cation of airborne scanner imagery is an essential prerequisite for the processing and analysis of this type of images. The Digital Photogrammetric Assembly (DPA) is an airborne camera consisting of three pan-chromatic line arrays for stereo imaging and four line arrays for multi-spectral imaging. For georeferencing the sensor system is completed by a module consisting of a GPS and a Inertial Navigation System (INS). Additionally due to the stereo capability of the camera error terms for position and attitude can be obtained by photogrammetric constraints utilizing ground control points and corresponding image points. In order to get the highest possible accuracy and to simultaneously reduce the number of necessary ground control points, position and attitude are determined by integrating all available information (GPS, INS and stereo image data). After this step the image data is recti ed in order to eliminate distortions caused from attitude and position variations of the scanner during the ight. This step is a prerequisite for the band-to-band registration of the multi-spectral channels and the generation of epipolar images which are required for stereoscopic measurement or stereo image matching. Within the article the geometric processing of the high precision and high resolution scanner imagery will be described and results of the performed test will be presented.

Sensor Integration and Calibration of Digital Airborne Three-line Camera Systems

The determination of the exterior orientation parameters is an essential pre-requisite for the evaluation of any imagery from terrestrial, airborne or satellite based sensors. Normally, this georeferencing processing is solved indirectly by using a number of well known ground control points and their corresponding image coordinates. Using a mathematical model for the relation between image and ...

Automatic Georeferencing of Aerial Images Using High- Resolution Stereo Satellite Images

For airborne surveys, direct georeferencing has become the primary source for EOPs (Exterior Orientation Parameters) determination since integrated GPS/INS (Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System) systems were introduced. However, there is still need for alternative indirect georeferencing since there are remote, inaccessible areas that lack a geodetic infrastructure and thus GPS/...

Sensor Modeling for Aerial Mobile Mapping with Three-line- Scanner (tls) Imagery

This paper describes the sensor modeling and the photogrammetric triangulation procedure for the TLS (Three-Line-Scanner) system. This system is a new airborne digital sensor developed by STARLABO, Tokyo, jointly with the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo. It utilizes the Three-Line-Scanner principle to capture digital image triplets in along-strip mode. The imaging system co...
